Rome's Borghese Gallery and National Gallery of Modern Art Launch Joint Initiative
The Borghese Gallery and the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art (GNAMC) have announced an exciting new collaboration that offers art enthusiasts a unique opportunity to experience both museums at a reduced price.
From now through September 2025, visitors who purchase a ticket to the Borghese Gallery can enjoy special discounted entry at 10€ to the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art on the same day. This initiative, titled "From Canova to Canova", creates a cultural bridge between the two institutions, both of which house significant works by the neoclassical master Antonio Canova.
This partnership allows visitors to experience Canova's artistic genius across two complementary collections, it's also a wonderful opportunity for art lovers to access the GNAMC's extraordinary modern collections at a preferential rate after exploring our Renaissance and Baroque treasures.

The Borghese Gallery Collection
The Borghese Gallery, known for its remarkable collection including Canova's celebrated sculpture of Pauline Bonaparte as Venus Victrix, continues to be one of Rome's most visited museums. With this new ticket arrangement, visitors can extend their artistic journey to the nearby GNAMC, home to Italy's premier collection of 19th and 20th century art.
Visitors are advised that the Borghese Gallery maintains its timed entry system with advance reservations strongly recommended. The discounted entry to the National Gallery of Modern Art is valid only on the same day as the Borghese Gallery visit.
